Is there a way to quickly edit multiple tags in FactoryTalk View Studio Site Edition? I need to create and add about 300+ tags into a DataLog Model and I would like to know if there is a way to edit and add tags using something similar to Microsoft Excel. Is there a way to modify the existing .mdf file externally and then "add component." Thanks.

You can also mark it as the "correct" answer if you click the checkmark next to it, unless you're waiting for a "more-correct" answer.

I found a very crude way to manipulate the Data which allowed me to copy from excel and paste into the DataLog "Tags to Add:" Section. I added all the tags that I needed in Excel, I was using HMI Tags so I used a Macro to edit and create the 300+ tags. I needed to add Brackets to each tag and then I needed to Concatenate the tags together. The final product looked like: {TAG\TEST1} {TAG\TEST2} {TAG\TEST3} Excel unfortunately seems to have a Cell Limit, so only 25 Tags fit in one Cell at a time.

After that I was able to copy the cell from Excel and directly add the tags to the FactoryTalk DataLog. Let me know if anyone finds a better way. Thanks.
