I am consistently being kicked offline by my Allan-Bradley processor while making online edits. How do I fix this?

There is a good chance that your CIP configuration is causing this issue.

Open RSLinx Classic, select Communications from the menu bar, then 'Configure CIP Options' from the drop down menu. Enter the following information in the dialog box:

Check - Use for "Fast" PCCC Requests Check - Use for "Slow" PCCC Requests Uncheck - Use for PCCC Diagnostics Requests

Messaging Connection Parameters: 8.00 sec. retry interval, 256.00 sec. timeout

Max. "Fast" Messaging Connections per PLC - 1 Max. "Slow" Messaging Connections per PLC - 1 Max. Unconnected Messages per PLC - 4

1756-DHRIO DH+ Interface Connection Parameters: 4.00 sec. retry interval, 32.00 sec. timeout

Max. "Fast" DH+ Interface Connections per Channel - 4 Max. "Slow" DH+ Interface Connections per Channel - 2

More info needed... What kind of PLC? How are you connecting to the PLC?
