I have a 2711P-RDT10C Component PanelView Plus with no accessible GoTo Config button and I need to get to the configuration menu to upload the program. I have a CompactFlash memory card to hold the application.

If you have a unit with version 4 of the firmware or higher, reboot the panelview and wait for a white square to appear in the corner. If it's a touch screen, try touching that square, and if it's not a touch screen, try pressing F1 while the square is visible. If you have an older version of the firmware, there is a utility you can download from the Rockwell Automation website.

Rockwell provides an autorun.exe file that can be loaded onto a CompactFlash card. It runs automatically and upon rebooting, the system will open into the Configuration Menu.

This is explained in Rockwell Technote #A55863468 or Answer ID 26037 in their Customer Help section. Cut and paste this link into your browser: http://rockwellautomation-es.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26037/kw/A55863468/r_id/113043
