I checked the box that says Automatic Execution Mode in my SmartGuard 600, downloaded the parameter and restarted. Why don't it automatically execute on startup?

According to Tech Note 42557 you have to safety-lock the SmartGuard 600 before Automatic Execution Mode is enabled.
