Historical Data Trending in Wonderware 9.5

I'm having issues viewing a historical trend in version 9.5. I setup the tags correctly and the trend object, but when I switch to run time, the trend object turns solid black and no data appears to be logged.

Background Info:

Historical Logging is Enabled

I created a Historical Logging Directory and pointed the software to store log files into this directory.

No files are being generated (not sure why).

$HistoricalLogging tag always remains false. I try to set it to true (using scripts, touch action, etc) but it remains false.

Any ideas?

2	Under Historical Logging Properties, make sure that the "Name of Logging Node" is configured to the local computer's name. The issue was that Intouch did not know where to store the log files, therefore, not storing them at all. link answered Jan 05 '10 at 13:58 Controls_Guy 61●4
